Mickey Mouse!!!

Well Sunday we went to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse at the Pavilion. You would have thought the Beatles were in the building. Harry and Payton (friend of harry's) could not control themselves. They were so excited. The show consisted of Mickey planning a Music Party. he asked the mail person to deliver his invitaitons to Handy Manny, Little Eistiens, and Tigger & Pooh (and Darby). They were ALL there on stage right in fromt of Harry's eyes! I have never seen him SO EXCITED!!!! Harry was dancing, singing along with them and answering thier questions...it was so CUTE!
However, i realized that night that Harry is really short. We were on the front row in the stands. In front of us there was a wall and on top of the wall was a big round bar. Payton could see directly over bar and had no problem. The bar was unfortunately directly in Harry's view so he had to stand on his tip toes or bend his knees. It was really cute though I felt bad for him. I kept telling him if he sat in his chair he would be able to see just fine but replied "No Mommy then I can't dance!"
God Bless Him!

Happy Valentine's Day...Weekend!

WOW! Harry's Valentine's Day is lating for three days....still going!

Friday...we started with the Valentine's Party at baby school. It was a great time. I always thought I was a picky parent who bitched all the time but I realized at this party that I was easy! Anyway, that is another story!

Harry had a blast! He ate a cupcake, cookies, drank fruit punch and played with his friends...not really he sat by my side and his friend brought us books for me to read to them.

After the Party, Harry and I met one of his friends at LaFortune Park. They played and burned some of the sugar energy from the school party.

Then we were off to dinner, where did we go you ask? Chuck E Cheese! yes it is still open! This was a first visit to the child heaven pissa place. Sophia and her mother joined us and we had a very exciting and active evening.

Chuck E. himself was at the resturant. I was really surprised to see that Harry wanted nothing to do with the Mouse. he loved the plastic one that stayed on the stage and sang songs but as soon the Mouse cam out and walked around Harry RAN! I have never seen him move so FAST!

Let It SNOW!!!

So it finally snowed in Tulsa! Unfortunately Harry was sick so we didn't get to hang out side very long. Schools were closed as usual when it snows here. I was home from work with harry for three days. We both needed to get outside so when Butch got home from work each night we all bundled up and went out.
On the first night, I thought Harry how to do Snow Angels. He loved it and moved all around the yard doing snow angels. He was then amazed with the icicles hanging from the bumper of my car. He crawled through the snow completely around my car knocking off the icicles.

On the second night we went sledding down our street. Harry really enjoyed going really fast but most of all he wanted to pull Daddy.
Finally the snow began to melt! Harry had a friend come over to play on Saturday. Believe it or not but it was 70 degrees outside with ice on the ground....The boys really enjoyed being able to play outside. We went on a walk for treasure...sticks, poodles, and rocks...we found it all. Ire, the girl next door, also came over to play. I attempted to teach the tree of them how to play hop scotch. No they didn't get it but they had fun hopping around we each other.

New Fish!

I am a little behind on the blogging so here are my updates for january!

We got to pick out 2 new fish. He picked a solid black one and a "mickey" fish, a gold fishwitha Mickey Mouse on its tail. Unfortunately "Mickey"has already gone to be with his brothers and sisters in heaven. Black is still swimming well and hanging with the other fish int he tank. harry really enjoyed going to PetsMart. He wanted one of every fish. His mind was made up as soon as the "fish guy" showed him the "Mickey" on the tails of the goldfish in the tank on the second row. The overzealous helpful "fish guy" proceeded to ask Harry which one of the thousands of fish in this particular tank. I kind of enjoyed the conversation that took place after that question. It was very entertaining but I am sure the "fish guy" won't ask a 2 year old that question again.

After we arrive home and Harry finished his nap, it was time to release "Blackie" and "Mickey" into thier new home. Harry held the bag as Butch released them. It was very exciting!

Hope you enjoy!
